adding Remote Entry Keypad for '98 Expy
Does anyone have any firsthand experience with Ford Stick-on Keypad # 7L2Z14A626BA
I'd love to add one of these to my '98 EB but in looking these up i find some Ford websites that say it will work on '98-2011 while most others say it's for 05-2011 only. Being that these aren't returnable from most online sources, I was wondering if anyone had any first hand experience. I have the 3 button ( lock/unlock/panic) keyfob if that matters.
Was also wondering about battery life. These sell for around $70 and it looks like the batteries aren't replaceable, so I was also curious about the lifespan. I imagine it would last about as long as a keyfob battery, which would be pretty good, but if it lights up maybe not.

I just did a google search on the part number and saw several good reviews as well as various prices. Just highlight the part number and right click on it, you will be asked what you want to do and then left click on search. You will get plenty of information then.
