engine tick

hello. i have 99 5,4 tritan, left side of engine has slite ticking noise
hqve had no probs tiill i accidently poped clutch as my name sounds i like mud i ran marvel throug it yesterday and still not gone any ideas

check ur exhaust studs..

my guess is you have at least one broken off or a few loose ones.

but id bet broken off given ur trucks age.

new to fourm. i just bought a 2004 f350 super duty v10 tritan. it has a ticking noise when starting off it sounds like a diesel. can any one help or advise me what it may be? it only has 62000 on it
