I've been slammed with stuff at work and home and haven't dug through the Sync info yet to answer your question. Go to the SYNC | Say the Word | Ford.com site and register. It's got tons of info and can walk you through just about anything in the system.

^Being a software developer myself I can't say that their site (instructions) are much better than anything else in the industry. I guess I'm going to have to learn at my own rate.
Just downloading and installing the version checker fails when 'Reporting Completed Upgrades'.
