I don't think that you are going to hurt a thing to interchange them, I know of it being done all the time. FWIW, the D60 ones are harder to remove when they rust up because of that extra surface area on them.
Yeah, I figured that out already... Took me about 10 minutes on each side with a rubber mallet beating out the Dana 60 ones.
Took about 30 seconds for the 50.
I think I'll just go ahead and run the Dana 50 spindles and maybe shim that rubber dust boot a little bit so it'll meet up with the knuckle better. I don't see any harm in it, and I don't hear anyone with a F250 breaking spindles because of the smaller lip there...
