oh lord help me

i found these on craigs list and i'm soooo tempted! after the 20s i had on my old '04 i have missed having some big bling. this is a great price IMO. we'll see what i do.

best part is these are 22s and they are a clean simple design.

Tires

only if you run a 35" tire on them. too little sidewall...too easy to tear up a rim

do they have the centercaps?

yes, and no i would stick with a stock size(around) tire like i did with my 20s..not going to loose any more power then i allready would.

my old excursion with 20" wheels and 275/55 20 tires. with the same lift i have on my current excursion.

seeing makes a believer. I like that alot. I have a hard time visualizing, but the pics work wonders.

I'm running a slightly bigger size on my Expy right now. 275/60/20 (33") would give you another 1/2" of sidewall, but minimal to no performance losses vice the 275/55/20 (32").

I'm just not a fan of having huge amounts of fenderwell gap. Especially if the tire can safely compress fully with bigger tires in there. Which is why I'm going to stuff 37" on my F-250 with the 4.5" lift when the 35" wear out

I'm an uber-critic when it comes to after market wheels. If it doesn't look stock, it has to look right. Just because it's a good looking wheel doesn't mean that it's right for a particular vehicle.

I like the wheel just fine, but I don't think that it "fits" the X. The wheel is shiny and flashy, but the X is quite plain. Look at the truck from a profile and the wheels stand out too much for my taste.

But not everyone will agree.

Add a little body color red to those wheels to tame down the shine and match well with the Ex color. Mock up that picture and a red pen to see what looks best.
