A4LD issues
ok i have an 89 bII tranny went out in it a couple months ago, i just picked up a used tranny out of an 87 bII pretty cheap and was told it worked good he only pulled it out because he is doing a 302 swap. as everyone knows an 87 had a floor shift where as mine is a column shift. of course i had to swap over the linkage levers and a couple brackets but i got the tranny installed and the linkage just doesnt seem right at all, not even close. ive tried doing a search to find out if the floor shift A4LD has different internal linkage than mine does or if i just have to swap out the valve body?? i cant find any info on this. any help would be greatly appreciated
