The shock mounts are off the 92 F350 the axles and springs came from.
The only parts I have had to buy so far is some steel, spring bushings, one u bolt and front brake lines. Every thing else I had in the parts shed. I am in the process of swapping to a flatter pitman arm so the drag link clears the springs. But it looks like the 92 F350 steering will work just fine.
The trans I'm using is a C6 out of a 78 F150. The t case is out of the same pickup the springs n axles are from..
I'm also thinking of slapping my 203 rang box in there for ****s n giggles.
You so need to panel up the windows and get a Viking airbrush job on the sides that looked like it came straight off a Molly Hatchet Album. maybe add an extra 2-4" lift on the rear, a Spoiler on the top and a heart shaped window in the upper rear corner.
All in all though, it looks great. can't wait to see the finished product.
now that you said with black paint added i realized you had a silver painted wedge there. but if you don't look at it closely it looks like a gap between the spring and axle.
Well I have a rear drive shaft to get made, and get the shift lever done. Wasn't too excited about the crossmember, but I didn't have any other metal in the shop to make one from scrap...
Had to pull the valve body out of the oldtrans and the new to swap out the shift levers on the side. The 203 range box didn't go in due to some clearance issues I didn't want to deal with right now....
