So I blew the factory crossmember out to replace the oil pump. I need to make a new bolt in member yet. Just need to find the motivation.
So I also ditched the factory oil filter adaptor housing in favor of just a filter. Can do it just because of the missing crossmember.

i hacked out a small amount of the x-member on my 85 after blowing a remote filter line and torching my motor going down the road. had to make like 3/8's off an inch clearance and a filter fit in the stock location without issue.
