Trailer Running Light Problems

I have a 2008 F250 and I cannot locate the fuse/relay for my trailer running lights. Everything else works but these running lights. Can somebody please explain what the following fuse and relay do and which one might be the culprit. I think I have narrowed it down to these two, Fuse 42, Trailer Park Lamp Relay, relay 55 Trailer tow park lamps, or any other one that I might need to look at.

It is in the fuse box under the hood. fuse 42 and the relay 55. It could be either or the trailer. If the fuse is good, I would see if your have power at the connector. The ones here have both a 4 pin and a 7 pin connector made into one assembly. Is that the way yours is? I think that is standard equipment but we also special order some stuff so I am not 100 % sure.

If it is made that way, I would check both 4 pin and the 7 pin connector as well. I had one here the other day that the trailer would not light up running lights that had a spider web in the trailer plug. We also have a lot of wires pulled out of the connector too.

I have the standard plug that came with the truck to control the brake and lights. However, for my boat its just a four pin connector that sits on the side. I know the trailer is good because I can connect it to my other truck and it works fine. I changed the fuse 42, but now I guess Ill look at the other one too. Perhaps both of them blew. The 42 was definitely blown. Ill let you know what I find. Why they put these things in such hard to reach places I have no idea, its definitely hard to get to them and then pull them out.
