Hey everybody I really need some input on a groan coming from tranny. 06 f-350 psd sc lb srw groan or hydrolic "noise" is just audible at idle if u listen closely then , even in park and bring rpm up to 1100-1300 u can really start to hear it sounds like a dry tranny ,but fluid is rite in middle of high mark, about 2500 miles old and never heard this noise before I know my truck and this is not a normal sound, Woops truck has 70,166 on the clock it's been mine since new and absolutly maintained with only ford parts no exceptions any ideas and thoughts would greatly help I am stumped??????
I just a quick search and everybody described a metallic rattling this is more of a bad pump or something truck drives and shifts great no codes just that sound is eating at me it was not there a few weeks ago I am sure of it
No I seems to be just fine running just not sounding good although it seems to get louder when I cycle ac on and off ,not much but I liitle different at first I thought ps pump but upon more diag it really sounds like tranny totally rpm specific
