Buy yourself a 20 oz. plastic bottle of pm-22a at a Ford dealer. This container has a long neck which makes it spill proof when adding it, I kept it in my rear door bin and when it was getting low I refilled it from my gallon can.
Bingo.... I re-fill a 20 oz old PM 22 container from a bulk container using a clean funnel.
So I just bought a gallon of PM-22A from my local dealer, I got it for a great deal for $44 after tax. My question is, how do you guys get it into the tank? :/ I wasted gotta be atleast an ounce trying to get it in the tank. I am thinking about trying to get a turkey baster. Any suggestions?
I hear an empty Stabil bottle works well, and allows for exact measurements. I just always buy the 20oz. bottles.
I always talked about it but never bought the Motorcraft stuff in bulk. I have been using RBP (Rolling Big Power) additive lately and really like the results. They have a bottle much like a Stabil bottle that measures out 1 ounce at a time. It only takes 1 oz of their additive to 30-32 gallons.
Anyway, it may be worthwhile to buy a bottle of their stuff just to get the bottle. The bottle seems to seal up well also. I had a lot of problems with the PM-22 bottles not sealing once they have been opened. I used to put Diesel Kleen in the PM-22 bottle and store it in the bed of the truck. Every bottle I ever used would leak if it fell on its side.
When you keep them upright in the door bin they will never leak, my opinion on the rolling big power is that it sounds like snake oil with a mixing ratio of 1-4000 oz. ratio which is 1 oz. additive per 32 gal. fuel.

Trust me I am no RBP fan! I have always referred to them as Rolling Big Posers, but of the 5 different additives I have used, the RBP is the cheapest per gallon and has yielded the best increase in fuel economy. As much as I would like to be able to say that something they sell is a ripoff, their product has performed better than Howes, Power Service, Lucas and Stanadyne.
