I was thinking about cutting out my muffler and doing a glass pack but then i was told it would sound like crap so now im thinking take out the muffler and puting in the super 44 or 40 with the rest of the stock pipes how would this sound ? again like a junk or good and deep ?
I have what I think is a flowmaster super 44 (it's huge, 4") and i like the sound. At idle it's fairly quiet standing beside it (but I can still be heard idleing outside the house) but when you stand on it, it roars to life and sounds great.
It has stock cats and pipes up to the Y, then it has a single 3 3/4" pipe going into the flowmaster and 3 3/4" out to the back with a 4" flowmaster tip. I thought about cutting the tailpipe off and dumping after the flowmaster, but this is my DD and I like hearing my radio and the speaker at Burger King. Lol.
