I have a 97 4x4 scab 4.6L w/ 235,XXX miles and since it is no longer my daily driver I want to lift it.
Basically I want bad *** leaf springs out back so I can fill the bed completely with compost, rocks, blocks, bricks ect (around 3-4k pounds) without bottoming out as it does now when I put that much in it.
The front I don't really care, I just want to bring it up a lil bit so the rear isn't too high after the new springs.
I will probably want to put some 35" tires on it too.
Check out either Deaver Suspension or National Spring for the leaf springs. Both companies can build you a set based on what you plan to do with the truck. I have the Deavers on my truck and they work great
