Production #'s

I know that Ford production numbers are hard to come by, but does anyone know how many 1966 F250 4X4's were made? And could you tell how many 1966 F250 4X4 cab & chassis were made?

I believe ford threw out all production # for 61/66 pickups back in the 70's?
don't know why?

I thought I read one of Numberdummy's posts that said some #'s were kept? (i.e. cab & chassis, flare side, short box, etc.)

My bad. I read the post wrong. some other place kept a few of the records. Not Ford.

Ford THREW AWAY all the records that pertain to 1961/66's decades ago, but...

R. L. Polk & Co. has recorded the production figures for all US automakers since the 19teens, but the figures are sketchy.

1966 F250 4WD = Platform (Flat Bed): 29 / Platform & Rack (Stake Bed): 125 / Cab & Chassis: 644 / Flareside Pickup: 1,595 / Styleside Pickup: 3,559.
