NA vs. Turbo IP P/N's
Ok I found a post from Dave that gave all the part numbers for the IP on the 7.3L turbo, non turbo, auto, manual etc. My question is can I put a DB2-5070 on my NA 7.3? I have a turbo that I want to install but it may not happen right away and the pump needs to be replaced. Will it hurt anything to install the 5070 rather then the 5013? Also on the IP's with the external fuel adjustment screw, do you turn it in to add more fuel? Will I have make a fuel adjustment on a 5070 IP if I can install it on my NA until I get the turbo installed? I am finding all these IP part numbers confusing and some sellers don't even list the part number, they just say what year truck they fit.

if you are referring to the "torque screw" which is actually a fuel curving screw, it does not have any affect on max fuel output. Careful adjusting it because you can end up really ******* your truck down by throwing too much fuel at it too soon. Stock adjustment is screw flush with nut, which is where you should leave it.

You can put the pump on now, turbo or not. To see if you need to adjust the fueling, drive it around and see. If you see visible smoke, or more than currently, you should turn it down some. If you don't see much for smoke, or about what you see currently, leave it be.
A pyrometer is the best way to really gauge things when you turn the fuel up. But I think you should be fine if you watch whats coming out of the tailpipe, especially if you have the stock air intake and stock exhaust. Should be easy to tell if there is too much fuel as it will just show up as smoke.

Thanks for the info. I'm planning on getting the IP and new injectors before winter. If anyone has any personal experience with a good seller for an IP or injectors please share. There are so many to choose from. I'm on a limited budget so I can't buy new. They will have to be rebuilt. Half the battle was figuring out what part numbers I needed.
