Nah, not first, just the ones who did it well. When you think 'turbo car', Japanese cars comes to mind. Americans did a lot of things first, like the turbine engine Chrysler, but most things didn't catch on until the imports started doing it.

When I think turbo car I don't think of the murderous *******s! I actually think Buick grand National, gt turbo, and t-bird turbo coupe, Benz 300TD, saab 900 turbo ect... Not one built by the war criminals!

Good luck with your new truck. Its not for me, but i hear nothing but good things about the "ecoboost" cough cough "turbo". Seems they got a good lil package there. But when i think small engine and turbos, i think of the euro models with 4 cyl turbo diesels that get 50+ mpg, but we cant get em here cuz of emissions. So we get stuck with cars in the 30mpg range. Brilliant i tell ya, just brilliant.

LOL at the haters...

FYI, the F-150 Ecoboost would blow away about 80% of the trucks on this site STOCK... Let alone with a little tune on it.

Ahhhhhh, the MB 300TD, what a car. I like the 300TD-T myself.
