Airbag code 46 flashing

How can I fix this problem? I've tried unplugging, cleaning, and plugging back in all the wires under both front seats with no help. Any ideas?

Cant answer your questions, but anytime you go unplugging and plugging in anything on the airbag system, do it with the batteries disconnected. A short in system while you are plugging something in can cause the air bags to deploy.

Thank you kindly for the accurate and important suggestion. Fortunately, I was aware of that fact. So far all I get is "take it to the dealer" from any place I call. The dealers want $75 to diagnose (pull codes) to start. I have an OBDII reader and have absolutely no need to pay that $75. I was hoping for more info. I have had some family emergencies lately which include two brain surgeries for my oldest daughter and, especially now, just blowing $75 for no reason isn't something that is prudent for me. I guess I'll just drive it with no airbags operational until I can find some less expensive fix. Thanks!

I understand youre between a rock and a hard place. Best wishes for your daughter..

Most likely, your OBDII reader wont pull the airbag codes from the truck. The dealer is probably the best solution for this, but maybe someone else has a suggestion who has dealt with this before.
