2002, and 2000 Shifting problems
We haqve the same problem on both theses trucks. Sometimes they work just fine others times u have to try and pull up really hard on the shifter to get it to start are put it in nuetral to get it to start in the 2000. On the 2002, same thing but some times it doesnt go in park, when it feels like it is and u stop the truck and turn off and she starts to roll backwards, AHHHHH MOTHER LAND.... What would be causing the problemo on this guys? Would it be this??? Steering Column Shift Tube Assy with Bushing SET???? THANKS A BUNCH GUYS..

The shift tube can get loose from the column. Look under the shift column. There are two Torx head bolts holding the tube to the column. These tend to get loose and sometimes fall out. A drop of Loctite and tightening the bolts often fixes it.
