I thought the croc movie looked bad-- maybe ill change my mind-- I started watching the SANDMAN series on netflix. I like it its dark though. Dahmer is next on my list i think.
Agreed about the Croc movie, the advertisements make it off as a little lame. We were just looking to find a family movie for us all to enjoy and it seemed like it would fit the bill. Nothing extremely moving, but we found it to be a fun and easy story to watch along to.
Kinda weird that one of the main characters was the serial killer from "No Country for Old Men", was kind of hard to ignore the tone of his voice on a kids movie compared to his last character role.
I wasn't a huge fan, I did enjoy parts of it, but just not what I expected.
I watched Aftershock this weekend in HD. It was about the Earthquake that shook Everest and Timbuktu. It was a documentary. It was amazing that they had cameras rolling through the whole thing.
I downloaded a bunch of movies for the upcoming 20 hr drive to Florida. I would be surprised if I get through more than one or two, but I have lots ready!
Julie said "The Last Blockbuster" was really pretty good, so I downloaded it. I will let you know.
So we watched every episode of "Wednesday" The Adams family new series- we liked it. I predicted most of the outcome but there was just a few minor twists I missed. Mostly predictable but fun overall.
I downloaded about 20 movies on my iPad before we left for Florida, thinking I would have a lot of time to watch movies, but I slept all of the time I wasn't driving.
Watched the new Avatar movie in Manhattan yesterday and thought it was really good. Not often that I don't end up falling asleep at the movies so this film passed my snooze test, lol.
It was a little lengthy at 3.5+ hours long, but it kept my attention the whole time. Really glad we went to the 3D version, really help immerse you into the story.
Tried out the "dine-in" option and had our lunch delivered to our seats. I thought the food was a tad pricey, but the quality was comparable to any decent restaurant I've ate at. Overall, didn't think the experience was bad at all to keep a family of 4 entertained and fed for around $100.
