For some reason We haven't been watching any tv or movies- just stuff from You tube- Fab rats vice grip garage- how to do this or that for other hobbies - I don't know just kinda "switched" we cancelled netflix a couple months ago- and haven't looked back-- we get so much next day air free shipping from amazon that we won't cancel it--- IMBD was bought out by FREevee and i am not sure if i like it yet or not. Been doing allot more outside- gardening- track meets- track practice- cleaning out camper- then lazer engraving-- keeps me busy.
Watched the new Doctor Strange movie in the Junction City B&B theatre yesterday because Mason was really interested. Movie was fairly interesting but we got pretty lost in the plot and may have fell asleep several times, lol.
I will say that I am really sold on AMC after the experience in JC. In all the movie cost us around $80 for tickets, a drink\popcorn for Jamie and I to share, and a kid's combo that the boys shared. The movie screen was small and almost hard to see from the back row and the audio was not nearly as clear or filling as AMC. The only edge I give B&B is that the seats are a little bigger and two people can "share" a seat without a divider which was nice for Jamie and I.
Next release we're looking forward to is Bob's Burgers Movie, looks like it'll be pretty funny
Never been to theatre in JC-- Really like Newton-- Like my basement to :-) -- Ill have to check out the Rudy adventure. I want to see Doc strange and Thor-- wifey is getting burned out on Super hero movies though.
Spoiler- it didn't end well -- Mutant X almost killed wolverine, then when they chopped off his head the eye lasers melted the cooling towers and caused the disaster--- Oh wait not same documentary?
Seems to me they take a while to load new stuff to YouTube and Roku. I just watch free stuff. Sometime basic Amazon. I don't pay for any up grades for anything. I did find that Roku has the Hell On Wheels series to view for free. I watched it back when it first came out and recorded much of it to watch when I could but I may have missed some of it. I have started it and watched the first pilot episode. It will keep me busy for a long time and is slow going for me but I will be able to see all of it.
That interests me, but the idea of storing a bunch of batteries that go bad every 5 years concerns me about the efficiency of the project.
Of course Nasa sent out a discovery satellite that has been running on batteries for 44 years and is still sending signals back. What kind of Vodoo do they do?
I watched Dunkirk on the advice of someone sticking a needle in my arm, and I mostly believe it was 1/2 through before I understood the plot of the movie, then it was a lot of action, then some ships sank, then it was over. I wouldn't recommend it.
