I've been knocking out several episodes of "Only in America" That was a pretty good recommendation. I have enjoyed all of the episodes so far, however I don't think some of the people that Larry interviews finds Larry as funny as Larry thinks he is. Some of them never even come close to laughing at his jokes. I do... but that's because I find a lot of things funny.
I watched the version with the Dragon Man, in Colorado Springs, with his museum of Military equipment. It would be interesting to stop and see that some time.
We started watching the latest season of "Bob's Burgers" on Hulu. I watched it years ago and found it mildly entertaining, but the latest season actually has me busting out laughing at some of the character's commentary.
I watched several seasons of Archer, which is the same guy that does Bob's Burgers. I reached the end of what they offered on Netflix, but then Netflix dropped it and never updated the most recent series.
I used to watch Archer too when it first came out, but I'm not an action-genre fan so I stuck with it mostly for the humor. The guy who does the voice for both is hilarious, he even adds that humor to the Arby's commercials he does!
Yeah, I am like you, I am not a fan of action-genre, I couldn't bring myself to watch most marvel comic shows, but the comedy in Archer just made me laugh.
So finished the last season of the Ranch-- a few days ago I finished Larry 's only in America--- Now I have nothing to watch-- Guess I will have to do some work this weekend
Well we saw the second meleficent movie-- It was OK-- better then I expected--- DIsney channel is a big disappointment-- the movies I want to see are not on it-- and we burnwd through all the ones on there-- Lone ranger is listed but not availible till 2021-- what the heck?
We finished The Ranch this weekend. It was okay, but I still don't know why the f word had to be such a large part of the show. Shock factor? I grew up around farmers and many were professional cussers, but they didn't use the f word that much. They were much more creative. Of course my dad was a WW2 navy veteran, and he had been to cussers graduate school.
I also finished The Ranch, I get what you are saying Del, and I agree, the show could have benefit from words to replace the F word, and could have even made it better if they had Fun replacement words that made you think for a second. Such as replacement words for Big Jim and the Twins, Meat and Potatoes, Nards, etc..
I was sad to see it end. There was so much potential for it to continue, and for it to answer questions, etc..
