For those of you who were thinking of signing up with the Disney channel-- Up 1 month or so and poof were about done--- Seen all we want to see-- they better come up with new stuff soon
Yup, we had it for a month also and then cancelled. Just wasn't enough to keep our interest, neat concept though!
We watched Abominable too, boys kinda followed along but Jamie and I couldn't keep interest.
Jamie and I decided to watch all the Fast & Furious movies over the break since I have the Blu-ray set. The first few were pretty good IMO, even though the car details were dumb or flat out wrong sometimes. As thenywent on through the series it was just one ridiculous scene after another, like they had to one-up the last movie they put out. They did sound and look pretty sweet in the home theater though (which is why I bought the box set in the first place, lol)
We also rented "Once upon a Time in Hollywood". Just like most Tarantino movies, it took forever to get anywhere but the ending was pretty wild. Jamie reeeeally struggled to stay in with the story since it was so long, but I enjoyed it through most all of the movie.
SO I found a fatal lack in my daughters education-- She had not seen any of the tremors movies-- so in 3 nights Tremors 1-2-3-- I guess there is actually 6 movies-- I had seen 4 - so we will watch the rest sometime.-- I have been watching only in America -- Calista did not know who Larry the cable guy was-- so we have watched a few episodes--- after she goes to bed I have been watching the repair shop-- they refurbish old stuff--- its pretty cool-- makes me want to do stained glass project--
Julie rented Joker last night for me, I really liked it! It sure gave a good backstory for how he became Joker, and why. Not just a "Joker suddenly appeared from nowhere as a villain".
Julie didn't want to watch it originally, but then she liked it. Carolyn may like it too. Its the whole journey of how the system failed a mentally ill individual.
I knocked out a few more "Explained" it is pretty interesting. Topics last night were Diamonds, Pandemic illnesses, and currently I am in the middle of Cults.
Run on sentences strike again!!
Punctuation.. : )
It makes the difference between:
I am ready to eat Grandma, pass me the fork.
and
I am ready to eat, Grandma. Pass me the fork.
SO I saw the Joker this morning before everyone was up!-- I liked it over all-- it followed the Batman Cannon really well except for one big thing-- the Joler fell into a vat of Chemicals to geret green hair and white skin-- but they glossed over that-- other then that good movie
