I went to see it yesterday also, and I thought it was really quite corny. It did have some funny parts, but overall I was not as impressed as I hoped I would be.
I have been thinking the same thing-- I just started up Paramount, and was going to drop Disney for awhile (until fall when there is new season of Mandalorian.) Luckily we get prime for free.
Super excited to see this movie! It's coming to theatres in my town sometime in June so I plan on trying to go see it. I enjoyed the old one and I guess it's kind of been a pipe dream to become a storm chaser for me. I think I would get a kick out of the thrill you get when up close to a tornado.
I watched Blazing Saddles on Laff channel last night. It is still a hoot to watch. A lot of language was bleeped out from the original. I doubt any studio would dare make it these days. One side would call it “woke” and others would call it racist because of all the tropes in it. It makes fun of just about everything including westerns. Slim Pickens is so funny in it.
Yeah, you are right, the whole show is designed to tear at your heartstrings and make you laugh and nearly cry.
I can tell you one thing, I would never make it as a farmer in that area. Their rules are ridiculous.
