I noticed it was missing yesterday as well. Not sure what's going on unless some of the information was inaccurate or missing. May be that they needed to pull it completely off the site until it was updated / corrected.
My truck has the HD payload option and I have used it. With that said keep in mind that even if the sticker says you are good for X amount of load it really depends on how your truck is outfitted. If you have loaded a bunch of extras this lowers your haul weight also remember your tires and what is their load rating (side walls 6-8-10 ply). The other big factor is your rear springs & helpers (if any). Then the last is drive the speed your loads will allow, I can't tell you how many times I see one of the local boys with a load of wood sagging & shimming down the road with the load so heavy the tires almost flat and trying to run at 60MPH. That's when it's time to slow down and let them get a mile ahead. Chris
Thanks Chris!
I thought the HD payload package is exactly what takes care of springs, tires, shocks, etc .... as long as you stay within the rating of course.
Think there may still be some errors on it as they are showing the payload of 163" xlt with HD payload pkg as 1700+ and the 163" without package as 2600+.

Not sure, but I did create a spreadsheet with the invoice and MSRP from Chrome Carbook a few weeks ago. Went to a dealer today to get another real quote, with my trade-in evaluated as well. Dealer gave me a sheet with both MSRP and invoice, it agreed on every single item with chrome carbook, down to the dollar, everything.
Hope they did not mess up what the had right before, lol.
One thing though: I will wait with ordering until the built and price tool at ford.com is up, and rebate info is out. The dealer told me that they can lock in the current rebates at the time of ordering, and get me the better ones at time of delivery if there are better ones available.
