I might get a timer in the future, but I didn't notice high electric bills in the winter.

I don't have a link, but someone had posted a full calculated breakup of plugging it in ever night, (1000wats/hour x KW/hr) or something like that, and basically concluded that it costs a dollar a day to plug in over night.

Either way, 1000 watts is a lot of juice...and I like small bills!

the GPCM has a wire for ever gp so one could work and the others not so you would need a led for ever one of the gp.

If you do not have the time or inclanation of installing a GPR on/off light, you can go with a plug in volt meter that plugs into the accessory port. It will show the true voltage drop when the GPR comes on and when it shut off the voltage climb, rate, and full Alt output. Plug in and play, tells you multiple info about you voltage status and unplug when not in use.

imo
