"The higher output voltage of our 58v FICM forces the fuel injector to open more quickly, which allows the fuel injector to flow slightly more fuel than the lower/stock voltage unit. The quicker action of the fuel injector also slightly advances the injection timing. The results with the 58v FICM is that the truck will pick up an additional 40rwhp; even with the standard Ford programming."

I am having a hard time with the 40RWHP gain....

Jimmy. Thanks for that. IDK about the 40RWHP. I guess because the injectors spray a lil more fuel than the 48V FICM. That would be the only reason I could think of

I just don't see 40 rwhp from going to 58v without some SERIOUS tuning. That's like 60+ flywheel HP to achieve that and I think it would be a best case scenario not typical for all trucks.

I wish I was close enough to just drive over there and have it done. I was notified yesterday though that they have a remote tuner with my name on it, so now all I have to do is wait for the UPS man to drop it off!
