1971 F250 Bolt Pattern

Can someone please tell me what the bolt pattern on a 1971 F250? Ive beed told 8lug X 6.5, but need to be sure before I buy wheels that dont fit, even multiple ford dealers couldnt help me! Thanks

Yes, it's 8x6.5, same as Dodge and GM HOWEVER the hub center is larger than the stock GMs. Any aftermarket rim should fit though.

Welcome to FTE

1953/98 F250 & 1967/98 F350: 8 lug wheels on a 6.50" bolt circle.

Ford Bold Pattern

Thanks for the welcome and the info! Will 265 75 fit my 71 F250? I am looking to maintain the truck look, just like a little bit of a fatter tire.

I used 265 70 17 on my 71 f250. Before you spend alot, read about offset and backspacing. I ordered my 8lug eagles online they fit perfect.

71 Tire size

Thanks, I forgot to mention that it is 2wd, does that change things?

My 71 F250 Camper Special is 2WD, auto.PS PB the wheels I installed are eagles style 1402,17 X 8, 8 lug x6.5 the tires are 265 70 17 someday i will learn to post a pic

F 250 tires

Thanks, I see now backspacing is an issue! I want the tires to be flush with the body so to speak/just inside the well, so I am trying to see what others have done to achieve that look before I blow money on rims & tires Im not satisfied with.
