The OP is naive to think a single dollar of his registration fee will go towards repairing California roads. He is also naive to believe throwing money at government workers (CALTRANS) is good for the economy.
Nothing short of a revolution will fix California. I strongly recommend he leaves the state while he is still young.
The OP is young and doesn't know any better. The rest of you Californians are great examples of bitching and not doing anything. You'll refuse to get up off your asses and do anything until the whole mess gets flushed down the toilet.
Either get out or get off your butts. Don't think the rest of us will stand to bail out California.
Interchange by Hershey, oh sorry that is after it was fixed by the flood waters.
2 years ago the state had I81 fixed by Scranton, the contractor went to jail when he got caught putting down below spec asphalt. So they tore up 12 miles of road..... 12 miles..... with a inspector watching.
They fix our county roads in 3 ft wide strips. But the cross brox is worse than ours.
Son: "dad how much does it cost to get married"
Dad: "I don't know. I'm still paying."
Haha. No ****. Throw kids in the mix. Buy all the cool stuff that you think you might want when you're still single. After you get married... "It's game over man, game over."

It wouldn't matter. She'll have you either sell it or throw it away. Enjoy them while you're still single.

Mine is the opposite. She still gives me **** for selling the '99 Camaro SS that I had when we started dating. I sold it when I decided it was time to buy a house. I'm too practical for my own good.

Get off your high horse there CHIEF!! Is all you ever post anyway, not very friendly and usually nothing usefull comes from your posts just running your mouth... also has anyone ever told you everyone likes a$$ but no one likes a Smart A$$...
I'm tired of hearing you about California! I for one like it here! yes it may cost alot to live here but I don't care I can afford it! Suck it!
I did the following for the great state of Kalifornia this past spring. Filled up my PowerStroke F350 DRW with 135 gallons of diesel, loaded up the lady friend, her mom and her granddaughter and drove from Yuma, AZ to Grass Valley CA round trip and didn't buy a single gallon of diesel the whole time I was in the state of Kalifornia. I do know how much soot/global warming gases I left so maybe they can build/repair a road with it. Since Al Gore has a house there maybe he can use it. haha
FYI Burning 130 gallons of diesel emits equals 806 lbs of carbon which equates into 100gal of diesel by weight. 1 gallon of diesel = 2,778 grams of carbon content.
