Spare Wire?
I installed a new coil on my truck, and noticed that I seem to have a 'spare' wire in the loom leading to the coil connector. There are the 2 wires to the coil, and a third one that goes to a 2 contact connector (only one side used), out the other side to a 4" length of black wire. I can't find anything it would go to, and I don't think it is a tach pickup because the tech is working. The truck is a '93 F-250HD with the 5.8, ZF S5 and remote mount TFI module. I'll try to get a pic if I can find a digital camera.
