Looking for coil wire
The coil on my 94' F150 L6, 4.9L is the square looking device on the right side of the engine with the one plug wire that leads to the distributor cap (right???).
This device has two wires sticking out the top of it. Can someone tell me if one of those wires (the one that is nearest the radiator) is tan with a yellow strip. I think it is but I can't really tell.
I need this wire for remote start purposes. I need the negative coil wire "supposedly connected to the coil", and is said to be tan with a yellow strip, to get my remote start system in tach mode, because my truck starts hard (I would say).
