Friday morning on the way to work my steering gearbox sprung a leak. So I attempted to change that out. Broke a bolt, couldn't find the 32 spline box,n my beer supply was low. While stopped on that project i started on installing my new T-500. Got the box on the next day. Got it for 172$ 30$ cheaper than what salvage yards wanted. Now I have a lifetime warrenty. Last but not least put my new RRD boot set on. Guess I can take tomorrow off. Haha. Honey do list.
My old one didn't wonder actually,my excursion I have adjusted twice. The T-500 is a good mod. Can't wait until the 23rd when Tony W is going to tie it all together with live tuning.
I wish my day was as easy as yours lol. I went to menards and bought an air compressor got it home and it would only go to 80psi... took it back exchanged it after asking the manager to get the new one ready and plug it in for me to make sure it works, she couldnt do that she told me on the phone! I exchanged it got the second new compressor home and guess what!? That one only made 40psi!! Took it back got my money back went to Lowes bought a good one make in AMERICA Plugged it in and 200psi. Hooked up the sand blaster to blast the bottom of my doors because there is some rust on all four of them. Blasted the rear DS door and taken care of, blasted the DS front door and found out it was filled with bondo on the inside with almost no metal!!! Then I ran out of sand and now its after 11 my time!!!
If you want to relax tomorrow I dont blame you. BUT if you want... I could use a hand
Matt,I can get a great second gear scratch now, with out it being re-tuned.
John,I'm sure your probably a long ways away from me or else I would,my e99 has a little cancer on the door bottoms too.
