Black CPS on eBay?
There are some black CPS on ebay for ~$25 each.
The part number is F4TZ-12K073-C. Is that the correct part number for the black CPS that is so sought after

F7TZ-12K073-A ( IH suffix C91, C92,C93) is the Ford # for the black one that fits '97 up. The C93 being the latest black cps version. That's the early model one. IIRC, some people are using it though. I don't recall the details, but there is a difference in the two.

Well, first, thanks for the write-up!
I was chasing my tail with the codes, and I stumbled upon your thread the other forum. I got my own black CPS and sure enough, no more #3/#8 codes. I saved a link to it and I frequently "spread the knowledge" whenever I can!
