I recently purchased a 65 ford 100 and am having trouble finding the temp sending unit. Where it seems it would be located there is a plug, but no wire. The engine is a rebuilt. Does anyone have a picture handy or perhaps could describe where it is located. Thanks!!!

I know others will ask, but we need a bit more info.
What Engine?
Does it have the sweep package with gauges, or the round one?
Without at least the first piece I don't think anyone can help NumberDummy may correct me on this.
Hey, thanks. Yeah, the engine may be important... It is a straight 6 240. The gauges are round.
There is a plug on the intake manifold, which is where it seems to belong. The plug is the correct size and shape, just no wires to it. Is there somewhere else I should be looking as well?
Yes, there is water running to the manifold, which made me think that was where it belonged. I was not sure if that was the only option. I will look again. Any suggestion on where to look on the head/block? I feel like I am looking right at it and just not seeing it....
Thanks again!!!!!
