Your signature says Stage 1's and a T500. Are you saying you don't have enough oil to run the stage 1's?

Bob at Diesel site has some HPOP's and so does Swamps. There's been mixed reviews on the SPR1.

I'd skip stealth due to the SPR1 issues, but that's my opinion. This is the first I've read about issues with a T500, especially with stage 1's. What pressures are you leveling off at, and at what IPR duty %?

Several have been happy with the Adrenaline running more than stage 1's, but from what I understand, that should pump less than the T500. I wonder if you got a bad build? Have you asked Joey about this?

Ask Roland! He seems to be doing well. And as for stage 1's my stock pump is holding better pressure than that. Maybe something went wrong? I'm sure he'll make it right!

I am running the Stealth Stage 1 HPOP. Though pricey, I don't think I did wrong by it. I has served me well and is doing what I expected of it. I was getting ~3000 psi at ~ 50% duty cycle in my 140 Extreme tune when I first installed it and Jody tweaked my tunes. I have since live tuned and haven't bothered to check it again. Since you brought this up, I may run an ICP test this weekend.

I guess my track and dyno performance spoke for that at RRE this year.

Swamps Gen 3 IMHO is the best on the market, then the Stealth singles and the SRP1... Bobs AD...

I think the Overdrive would be sick as hell if Bob would let it out.

Suggestion before swapping out expensive parts....

Find out what your fuel injection pulsewidth is at WOT on your high hp tunes.

Hey Joey, you have a PM.

It's possible something is wrong with the pump. They are mechanical after all. As Chris stated, that pump should have NO problem supplying oil to your Stage1's.

Send it back and I would be happy to take it apart and inspect it. If necessary, I will throw it on the flow bench as well. That pump has a 2 year warranty, so let's see what's going on.

I would offer to send a replacement, but I'm currently on back order awaiting my next shipment of parts.

Thank you,

Joey@TE

Joey,
This post is in no way saying anything bad inregards to the T500..Just exploring options..I have not read your pm yet but will get back to you....

Thanks everyone for your inputs, I cant remember the IPR numbers but i have them somewhere on my laptop at home and will try and find it when i get a chance.I know the numbers are good, I know there is a mechanical issue with the T500..what I am looking at is- in the future there is a motor build coming up, probally an upgrade to the injectors..with the issue with the current hpop, do I pursue the issue or just do a upgrade from here??
once agean,at this point, just exploring options...

Hey Joey, reading through some of our PMs I think you mentioned oil temps reaching 220 degrees? With my 180 T stat, that should never happen.

So, first off. I need you to verify oil temps. Get an IR gun and shot the reservoir and make sure your numbers match. Oil temps in my experience have an effect on pump delivery. Cooler oil usually results in slightly better pressures.

That's where I would start. It's possible there is a pump issue, but I think you also mentioned duty cycle being in the 9-11% range at idle. That is actually pretty good.

Thanks,
Joey@TE

Joey, The 220f was before your t-stat and befor the rad being cleaned out (trash in the front and had it rodded out just to be safe)with the cooler temps now i am seeing 180-190 oil temp...On the way to RRE and back I did have a heat issue, it wouldnt overheat but climbing long grades i would see 220-230f pulling 10000 @70mph,slow down it would cool off,top the hill cool off..got back pulled red cleaned/rodded it out and all is well with temps...
