I don't think I'd go that far. Its just a small crack and I just dont want it to get any worse. I thought there might be some application that will slow down the ripping process. Thanks anyway.
You may be able to find a resource from your local dealer. They may be able to replace just that panel that is cracked. Although I was quoted approx. $100 to replace a panel, so the $195 to replace the entire seat bottom or upper seat is extremely attractive.
Maybe stitching to stop the crack from advancing? Cracks in leather are kind of like cracks in metal, they can be stopped but may not look so good.

Hi John, if you go this route replace both bottoms. That's what I did to get a better match. These guys cut both seats from the same hide for me, perfect match!
I also like the cleaning technique they show on the site for the topside.
Works well.
