I there, I'm having trouble with fuel pump issues, or carb issues, I can't seem to figure it out. It smells awful with gas fumes, I've tried to adjust the floats and carb stuff...I'm just at a loss...I also, seem to get vapor lock on hot days when driving...any suggestions?

What is the ID number of your carb, what height are the floats set at, and what jets are in place?
the carb has a stamp 1.08 on the left side...the floats are set at 0.465 at the low point and 0.435 I will readjust them after I remeasure. My plugs look pretty good a little sooty around the top of the threads but plug looks good, they are set at .28

The carb either has an aluminum tag with ID number, or if it is missing Id is also stamped on the foot, base of carb. Let me know what it is and I can look up the original application. Some 1.08s were used in 390s as more EPA regs were coming out.
Jets?
A float level of .465/.435 may be OK. I'll try and find my list for float levels tomorrow.
A properly running plug with good A/F mixture will show little to no color on porcelain. In direct sunlight or with good flashlight, the very bottom inside of the plug should be brown. Might reset plug gap at .035.
These are some things that can cause the carb to run rich: Improperly installed power valve or use of wrong PV gasket, plugged air bleeds in the booster cluster, missing the weight and/or ball bearing in the primary booster,
improperly set automatic choke, float set too high, jets that are too large.
My 1.08 Mustang carb came with 48 primary and 56 or 57 secondary jets.
Now I'm confused...I'm getting fuel into the glass bowl, but not into the float chamber of the carb...?is something not sucking the fuel from the fuel pump "glass bowl," tot the carb? The glass bowl is bubbling when turning over the engine

Sounds like you have an air leak someplace.
I believe the glass bowl on most fuel pumps(with integral fuel filters/clear bowls) is under suction. So if you have a loose connection, cracked fuel line etc, it'll suck air and you'll see bubbles in the bowl.
If the engine compartment is really hot and the ambient temps are HOT, that could an indication of vapor lock but summer fuels usually have lower vapor pressures than winter fuel.
If you have winter fuel in the truck, you might consider draining it and replacing with fresh fuel.
I might even try getting some NON-ethanol fuel if you can find it.
