what size subs would it fit, is it possible to move the seat forward with out fabrication?

My box is built for 2 MB Quart shallow 12's. The seat latches to the back of the cab, so you cant get anything back there without relocating it.
I was going to make a set of seat risers to bring the seat up and out a few inches. The only other option that I can see working in a supercab, is a JL stealth box that fits in the console.
I'm still workin on my setup, but will post pics if I ever get it done.

The MTX Thunderform will fit perfectly under the seat. I have one in my 2000 Super Cab. I get a good sound out of it, and the box color matches the interior pretty good.
Ive never seen anyone put subs behind the seat, only amps. I think it would be interesting to see, but there already isnt a lot of room to begin with back there.

I used a Q-logic rear center console with a JL 10" sub in my 2000 SC, worked great and very durable.

The rear seat is different in the '99. It folds flat and there is basically no room under it.

Isnt there 2 different designs in the 99 though? I seem to recall there being a difference between early 99 and late 99 with a lot of different parts.

I have the captains chairs in my backseat. I was able to fit 2 mephis PR12's and my amp back there no problem. Its tight but it fits fine. Did have to remove the carpet from the back wall to give me enough room and take out the roadside kit (jack, etc). Since you have a bench seat I have seen some boxes that are meant for "shallow mount" subs, but they dont hit nearly hard enough for me.

If you have a 40/20/40 seat in the front, JL audio makes a stealthbox that replaces the "cushion" in the jumpseat. If you have the full size console and buckets, they also make a stealthbox that goes in the console, still leaves a bit of room and raises up the console a bit.
They are pricey, but well worth it IMO.
