So when i start my truck up i let it sit for about 5 minutes to get all the fluids flowing through it. Hop in my truck to go and she just wants to chug like a locamotive and only goes about 1 my and hour and feels like shes going to die. On my scan gauge II it shows that the FVP is at 12.2 while the FMP is only reading 25. After about 5 minutes of the truck acting up the FMP will climb to 45 , but leaving from a light the truck will the truck will go but the FMP will drop to the low 30's and slowly climb up as you hold the accelerator at the same area. Is this a bad FICM? If so is there any certian FICM I would need to get or can I just get on ebay and find a new one in the box and swap it out.
My truck is a 03 f350 6.0 with 116600 miles on it and the rest of the info for the truck is on my sig.

I have the exact same problem only mine starts and runs fine, but my voltage drops way down when i step on it, I also have a CEL but cant get codes from my SG. I think i might try the resoldering thing, hopefully that fixes it......i hate electronics
You guys can remove them and take them to a computer repair shop and they will resolder for almost nothing, just print out the FICM repair how-to and they will follow it to the letter and they have all the equipment there to remove the amber slug and to replace caps or resisistors if need be. My local shop has done a few FICM's(thanks to me) and only charged 25.00 each, standard hourly rate. And no worries about reprogramming.
The FICM is from elite diesel engineering. I was looking into another ficm, because mine is fried. The stage 1 and 2 are almost similar just stage 2 needs a programer to flash the PCM. Both have 58volts, and improved cold weather starting. Has anybody bought these ficm's? Thanks and anyother opinions about this situation welcomed!!
