The blend door? of is it just your vacuum pump has gone out?
If the vacuum pump goes out, Truck will default to ONLY defrost. You can't get it to blow on your face or your feet. Its $100 maybe $200 part and takes 5 minutes to replace.

Also when your vacuum pump goes out, Your auto 4x4 won't work, You will have to get out and manually engage your hubs.

How old is the truck? Is this a factory defect from a new delivery or did that assembly simply wear out. It would be interesting to take a look at what is behind the dash when they have everything apart.

My truck is a 2011 lariat almost one year old this month. They tested the system and seemed to know what the problem was.all summer i was happy with the dash vents for ac. The other morning it was 0c outside so tried to defrost the ***** frost off window.Thats when i noticed the thing wasnt swithching to the different modes at all. That would not be good if you needed to defrost your window in a month or so lol.Yes i live in canada. Truck has 40500km only.

Where are you in Canada that you had frost? I don't like the sound of that, the crops we deal with sure could use a couple more weeks frost-free.

Ahh, that makes sense at that elevation. We've got some production north of you in the Peace country, they've had some cold nights already too.

Thanks, enjoy the heat!
