auto lights

I have a 05 XL and it does not have auto lights on it. If I go to junk yard and buy auto light switch and install it, will it hook up correctly and do I need to have it programed?

I would think you would need alot more than just the switch you would need the light sensor that goes on top of the dash pretty sure the computer or gem module would need to be repogramed and I am sure I am missing some things to. but hang on because I am sure somebody has done it and will tell you more abt what you need.
