Name Change

Isn't about time to change the name from "2011 6.7L Ford Diesel" to include the 2012? Maybe "6.7L Powerstroke Diesel".....

We discussed changing the name a few months ago, as this one is called "Powerstroke" just like all previous engines. This didn't happen for "search engine optimization". We should include the 2012 years as well, I'll see what I can do.

Could have also been "6.7L Scorpion Diesel" but Power Stroke is cool....

I put a Scorpion next to the PS belt buckle.....

Yeah, but that would have confused people. Think of the guy who just bought the truck, never knew about it's development, and comes here to ask a question. His truck says "Powerstroke" and the forum says "Scorpion". We already have enough folks who post int he wrong forum because they can't figure it out, calling it "Scorpion" would have made it a bit worse.

Do you guys think we should put it in the subtitle? Something like "6.7L 'Scorpion' Diesel Engine installed in 2011-2012 Super Duty Trucks"?

I think that will still prompt questions. I call it "6.7L Powerstroke" when I talk to people.
Microsoft code names operating systems in development but that's not the name people know when its released.
