Drove mine around this morning and did not update. Had to go into settings and do it manually. Asked me if I wanted to sync it up to my GPS time, but it also stated that even doing this would not convert to Daylight Savings Time.
Our ol' 2009 F450 wouldn't update for Daylight Saving Time. Figured Synch 3 wouldn't update, either. Made the change late yesterday evening when I changed the microwave, and wall clock. At least Synch 3 was easy to change. David
I would imagine since some areas of the country where Ford sells products do not participate in Daylight Savings Time it would be easier for them not to have it auto-adjust and eliminate the need to develop software for where it does and does not need to set clocks.
Mine didn't update either. Then wife set it to GPS and it did.. I would think it would be correct on GPS any where you travel, unless you are right in the change line (i.e. State line etc).. We were coming from EDT to CDT. Other wise how would your phone update. It doesn't have a DST switch...

Your cell does not update by the GPS. I updates by the carrier. So when you go from on time zone to another it gets its update from the switch it's on of the carrier.
