Can someone please recommend which way to go on this? What is the best unit and where to buy?
Can you trade out the 12 volt supplied flasher for a 6 volt Flasher Unit?Do you even need to change it to 6 volts?
I checked out past posts all day and could not find a wire diagram for a 6 volt with 2 pin corner lights.I did find 12 volt-do I just follow it?
Thanks in advance and all the best.

Kootenay, I really don't know too much about these, and am not sure if this is what you want but Yankee, who made tons of lighting products in the past , made the "Turnflex" system that turns up on Ebay all the time, like this one:
I know their stuff is good quality, since I use a set of vintage Yankee fog lights, and some of their stuff is highly sought-after.Not sure if you can convert one from 6 - 12 volts easily, but 6 volt ones show up also.On Ebay, go to the "Vintage Car and Truck Parts", type in either "Yankee" or "Turnflex".
Yes, you need a 6v flasher for use with 6v bulbs. Other than that, nothing changes. BUT... I'd be skeptical that chinese copies of the SignalStat have adequate wire gauges for 6v. In other words, buy a SignalStat designed for 6v to be sure. (Yankee is a good product too from what I've seen)
