IMHO, try getting help first. People let go so easily these days... I guess I'm kinda old fashion, but that ain't such a bad thing, is it?
Good luck. I hope you both find what is the best result for your kids. They're the most important element in this kind of a situation. I'm sure you are plenty aware of that, but sometimes we need a reminder. I hope all goes well for you, and all involved.

Already did all that stuff. Went thru counseling. I've filed for the big D twice before but cancelled. She's been to rehab 3 times. It's a long story.
At least my blood pressure is back down. I almost had to go to the hospital Saturday.

Although I could go in so many different directions with this, I'll just say... Good luck Dale!
All though the children are very important in this situation, you have to think about "a #1 -yourself first! If you can't take care of yourself (health or whatever) than you won't be able to raise the children - assuming that you'd take the kids w/ you to provide a better life for them. Especially if the mom has been in/out of rehab. You've gotta need & "want" it bad enough to stay clean & sober. It's hard, but it can be done...been there, done that.
Good luck again!
Above is the link for Street Vibrations if anyone is interested. Hope to see some of you there.
Tim - are you coming to Street Vibes? Bruce is coming down on Saturday to see if he's interested in buying my hubbys 70 Ford stepside & then hopefully we'll all go up to V.C. to check things out. Come on down & enjoy the fun!
My boss is threatening me with overtime. We'll see. Kinda waiting to see how that pans out.
I have to say, though, I really doubt that I can make it, even if I don't have to work. My guest bathroom is still all tore up, in the middle of remodel. I really have to get back after that and get'r done before the snow flies.
We'll see though. Ya never know. I'd sure like to. Sounds like lots of fun. I feel like I have a little devil on one shoulder saying "awe just go have fun." Then on the other shoulder got the angel saying "you really need to be responsible and finish that bathroom"... A true test of will here.
Well, Thursday is here & just 1 more day closer to the weekend!
Don't you hate it when your excited about something & it seems like time is moving so slow?
I think you have the devil and angel mixed up Tim!
I'm guessing we will just have to plan a party at Tim's house.
Hey Tim, have you got all the parts and supplies for the bath???
Maybe we could bring a gang and knock it out really quickly.
Anybody else on board for this idea?
Thanks Bruce. As for the parts, well, no I don't have all of the parts. The boss is still deciding on the tile for the floor and shower. I am hopeful that she'll have made her decision this weekend. This whole thing started with a new floor, until I stripped the floor and found where a slight leak from the shower had caused sub floor damage over the years. Of course that meant OUT COMES THE SHOWER. Then one thing led to another and the room is down to the wall studs and floor joists. Then, of course, I had to tie in the hall floor with the bathroom floor and since it going to be tile, well out comes the vinyl down to the subfloor.
I'll get it... Once the boss finally locks in on the tile color and style.
