here my day so far got up. gf dad came and picked me up. gfs kids chevy started stalling a running ruff on thurdays last week. so i had to drive him to school because he left his dl in his truck. so know i have to drop the gf off at work come back drive her kid to school that gets old quick . so the truck stayed parked for the weekend after me and her dad get to his place where the truck sat for the week end. i go fires right and made the ten mile trip into town fine. know it is in the shop to get checked out.

The fuel filter is the easiest to change and to me sounds like the most likely culprit, based on what you described.
A filter can become restricted and stall the engine. Then after sitting, the contaminates can fall back out as the pressure to the filter drops off and it will start up and run for a while. Eventually, the contaminates will again build up as the fuel flows back into the filter and press into the filter until it stalls. Then the contaminates once again will fall back from the drop in pressure against the filter... Make sense? It does to me anyway. And I have seen this happen more than once where a vehicle will run crappy and eventually stall. After sitting it will start up and run for a while, until the filter clogs again.
Try changing the fuel filter.

TGIF! The weekend is finally about to start.
Hope everyone enjoys their weekend.
Sorry I haven't been around much. After playing rodeo cowgirl & getting bucked off my horse, I've been trying to recover & doing as little as possible, as certain lifting or movement would literally stop me in my tracks. I think I had/have more injuries than I thought - Lft. thigh, Rt. low back & Rt. hip/pelvis, but I can't afford to go get Xrays/CT scans. So, I guess I just deal with it!
Finally able to get out & about (so long as my 4runner has gas in it) to look for jobs for unemployment. Boy, are they sticklers about every little thing! Oh well, they're just doing their job too!

Hope everyone is having a great weekend so far! Mines going great.
I'm feeling good (so far), have a potential job interview coming up with a local hospital (gotta love blood & guts), & we're heading to Dayton Valley Days for good food, fun, entertainment, & a car show. I wanted to enter Olfthfl, but decided not to this year. Just can't afford it & she's not ready.
I could do a quick wash job i guess & jump start her, but then I'd still have to come up w/ the entry fee. Oh well, next year!
It'll be fun either way.
