Radiator gunk?
I was going to do a fluid flush, Its been awhile, Im sure. This truck was rarely driven before I bought it. When I took off the cap The fluid is a rusty dark-red brown, Which usually means Rust in the system and It needs to be flushed. But I noticed on the filler neck and the cap, There was like a goo, kinda like doe. and I could roll it in my fingers and it wouldnt break apart ? Did someone use some kind of stop leak do you think, or have you guys had this too. Any ideas? Ive flushed rusty systems and have never noticed this before

never know what the previous owner put in the radiator , could be anything ! are there any signs of old leaks ? i have put laundry soap in radiators before and it seemed to clean the system up pretty good , it was like a last ditch effort before replacing the radiator ! put it in and dove for a day then flush flush flush !
