I have a remote start installed on my rig, and would REALLY like to get it working before winter gets here. (Yes it's coming, like it or not.)
It's an old "Avital" system... still fully installed as far as I can tell. Has not worked since I got the truck. (I attributed it to a bad remote, but have since fixed the remote, and it still doesn't work.)
I'm not sure if theres a way to reprogram the remote, reset the system or whatnot. I would really appreciate any help on the matter. I don't have the money for a new one.
I'd try to go through the manual and see if there is a reprogramming procedure you can try. Start with the simple stuff (reprogramming, fuses, wires and etc) and work your way up.
