Any "Remote Start" Pros Out There?
I have a remote start installed on my rig, and would REALLY like to get it working before winter gets here.
(Yes it's coming, like it or not.
)
It's an old "Avital" system... still fully installed as far as I can tell. Has not worked since I got the truck. (I attributed it to a bad remote, but have since fixed the remote, and it still doesn't work.)
I'm not sure if theres a way to reprogram the remote, reset the system or whatnot. I would really appreciate any help on the matter. I don't have the money for a new one.

I'd try to go through the manual and see if there is a reprogramming procedure you can try. Start with the simple stuff (reprogramming, fuses, wires and etc) and work your way up.
