AC conversion

I have an I6 1987 EFI F150 and there is an f250 with a 351w near by. would i be able to take the air conditioning parts which have already been converted to the r134 and install them on my truck?

Not sure on the mounting, etc...

But is the 351w a R-12 SWAPPED to R-134a?

First of all, do you know what, if any, parts were converted? What if they just drained it of R12 and refilled with R134a?

The receiver/dryer is the only part that should be replaced if everything is functioning properly. Also you will need screw on schrader valve adapters.

Check with a parts store to see if the compressor is the same between the engines then you will need to track down the brackets from the wreckers to mount it.

So the parts from the f250 with the 351w will swap right into my f150 i6, i may just need to find some mounting hardware correct?

Compressor Mount and Manifold Hose(s) will be different for the I6.

This is not true - you need barrier hoses otherwise the R134a is going to leak thru the hose.
