AC Accumulator question
I have an '85 F-150 with AC that has been converted to R-135, and the accumulator needs to be replaced. I was wondering if there was any way to get an accumulator from a later model pickup that already has the 135 fitting and install it on my '85. Are there any parts from later years compatible with this system? Thanks!

the r134 adapter should screw right off your old accumulator and then you can put it right on your new one just go to the parts store and get yourself a new o-ring for inside of it. make sure you get an ac o-ring other's won't work and depending on who you talk to they'll tell you that it has to be an o-ring for a 134 system not r12 but I've never had any problems either way. good luck
