2003 Explorer A/C problem

Hi all. My wife's Explorer started doing something strange. The a/c vent temperature is much higher on the drivers side then on the passenger side. I noticed that after it runs for a while the temps start to even out. A while being 20 minutes or so. Could this be a blend door issue?

Does your wife's Explorer have the manual climate controls or the Dual Automatic Temperature Control (DATC)? If the DATC you can try putting it in diagnostic mode to see if it thinks there is a problem with itself.

No it's manual. It does have rear air and I haven't checked to see how that's working.
